MUSCAT- A Heart of Oman
Muscat is the capital and the heart city of Oman with a population of more than 1.5 million people. Muscat is a city of cities full of features, beautiful scenes, and needs of life that one is unable to avail in its hometown.
Throughout Oman and many Arab cities, Muscat is one of the most visited city for both medical and international tourism. The city is located on the Gulf of Oman and is full of hilly mountains and educational institutes. Throughout the city, Arabic is the most commonly spoken language along with a short range of English as well.

Similar to Oman, Muscat has a hot and temperate climate. June is the hottest month there along with a quite high temperature and cloudy sky in July and August as well. In June, the temperature rounds about 40 Degrees Celsius at the day time. While in July and August, it drops to 34-37 Degrees Celsius. Winters in Muscat are very pleasant and charming with moderate temperature. Annual rainfall in Muscat is about 100mm only. All over the year, the shine brights all around. Visiting Muscat in the days between November to March is the idle time and the best choice.
Being the capital of a country, Muscat has to provide a wide range of transportation, and it did quite well. No need to worry about getting around while visiting Muscat. The city provides numerous buses, taxies, rent a car, and trains. Most commonly used means of transportation is via bus which is very convenient and cheap. The city also has a railway station and an international airport named as Muscat International Airport where international patients land from different countries. Furthermore, the taxi service is also available for a private and quick journey.
One of the main reasons for the reputation of Oman as a medical tourist destination is Muscat. As a capital city, Muscat has many international level hospitals accredited by the Joint Commission International (JCI).
