MYANMAR COUNTRY?
With a population of more than 53 million people, Myanmar, formerly known as Burma, is a country in Southeast Asia. This is the country where you can live a lifestyle of your own as the country offers every aspect of life needs. With Naypyidaw as its capital, the country shares its borders with India, Thailand, China, and Bangladesh. More than that, the country also has been a member of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations. The literacy rate in Myanmar is quite impressive as the country has many educational institutes and medical healthcare sectors. Furthermore, Yangoon was its former capital and the largest city.
The country normally faces a tropical climate with a rainy season from mid-May to October. The Winter season in Myanmar runs from November to February with cool and mild weather. The day time temperature is quite warm and sunny but at the night time, it reaches about 5-8 Degrees Celsius. From February to May, it always rains along with the moderate temperature. While in September, the amount of rainfall reduces to a large amount. Yet, the best time to visit Myanmar (Burma) runs from mid-December to mid-February.
Getting around in Myanmar, especially in the large & important cities is very easy and convenient. In the capital and large cities, local buses keep on picking and dropping the travelers from one location to another. Other means of transportation include motorcycle taxies, horse carts, rickshaws, and modern Japanese pick-up trucks. Short rides around the country can expense about K500 to K1000.
