Tangerang is a bustling city of 1.5 million people found some 20 kilometers west of Jakarta, which has effectively grown into a suburb of the capital city. This brisk city is located close to Jakarta which attracts visitors from all around the world. It has 5 sub-districts; Benda, Ciledug, Jatiuwung, Batuceper, and Cipondoh. Similar to Jakarta it is a chaotic and heavy traffic city developed specifically for residential and commercial purposes. It is an industrial and manufacturing hub and home to over thousands of factories. Every year, a number of tourists visit the country and enjoy loads of attractions in Tangerang.

Transportation and International Airport of Tangerang

Merak highway and Bumi Serpong Damai-Jakarta Outer Ringroad are the two highway connections from Jakarta. However, there are several feeder buses, and taxi companies operating in this city. Some of the taxies include bluebird, express taxi, and local operator Arimbi. More than this, you can also avail the public bus shuttle service that travels from the airport to different destinations in Jakarta. You may also find private shuttle bus service to travel within the residential area such as Citra Raya and Lippo Karawaci.
